clean rooms but far from downtown

springhill suites provided a comfortable stay with friendly staff, but be mindful it's a bit far from downtown savannah which can add time to your trip.

Free comlimentary breakfast:) And of course, the cleanliness of our room and as a whole. I wished we could have stayed a few more days but i need to be back home.

The distance to the historic district was quite a drive. I should have checked exactly where it is but it just worked out fine driving around Savannah was an experience.

The front desk clerk was an excellent help, and had a knowledge of Savannah events - like professional concierge . The hotel was far enough for rest, and close enough to enjoy the town.

The tv set was positioned awkward. Nigh stand too small for a two bedroom room.

My family stayed for 3 nights in a Studio Suite, 2 Double. While the front desk staff, especially Tybria, were great too assist us, the room was not up to standard. Dirty shower and malfunctioning amenities. Choose carefully!

The hotel was clean and the staff at the motel were very friendly. I was impressed with the people that worked at the hotel. All seemed to have a genuine interest in doing a good job.

I loved the romm our king size bed was very comfortable. Hotel on the main strip for shopping and dining. 25-45 min from Typee Island (perfect) and 20min from the Riverfron again (perfect!)

I really enjoyed the location of hotel it was perfectly situated for shopping , beach and tours. I also, liked you had a designated area for smokers one spot under the trees where you can sit and it another in the sun.

The kids loved the convenient location, easy to explore nearby attractions. We found a great diner just a short drive away for breakfast.

In my children's opinion, the pool area could be improved for better family fun.

The rooms were brand-new and nicely decorated, with iron/ironing board, a work desk and a couch bed, good bed. The location was decent and exceptionally nice, at a medium distance from Largo Plaza. It also was close to everything.

The price was less than half of the hotels that are close to the historic district - yet the room was in keeping with what you would expect at a Marriot.

The fire alarm went off at 10pm one night and then at 6:20am the next morning. The staff said it was a faulty sensor - I wish they had searched for the cause after the first alarm so the entire hotel wouldn't have be alarmed at 6 in the morning.

The staff was friendly and made great local recommendations, contributing to a pleasant atmosphere. While the breakfast was consistently well-stocked and offered a good variety, some issues stood out. Loose tiles and chipped grout in the bathroom heightened concerns about cleanliness and safety. One of the days, the room was skipped during cleaning, a disappointment. Communication regarding concerns felt lacking, dimming my overall experience.

Peaceful,quite,clean and kind----PS --kindness return where it is found and we certianly found it at Springhill Suites Savannah Midtown ,will stay there again----------THANKS guys

Friendly desk clerk upon arrival. Maintenance men on site very warm courteous and helpful. I also liked the late checkout option. .

Friendly staff, comfy bed. Wi-fi was slow and frustrating.

Brand-new room with all the amenities, a fold out sofa, a great new bed, perfect for us.

The breakfast was great.....and the location was central and close to my family
